SPACES: Knowledge to Practice
Knowledge to Practice serves to:
Be an informal review committee for work products developed by the forum participants and their collaborating partners;
Develop policy briefs on topics of emerging importance;
Be an author/review/comment entity for timely testimony and media statements to be used by Collaborative members;
Be a forum for dialogue with researchers outside the Pittsburgh area regarding the details of their scientific investigations;
Be an incubator of ideas for research grant funding opportunities;
Cultivate ideas around broader environmental health impacts (e.g., cancer, reproductive/developmental effects).
