Kiarat Vidal is studying Architecture and Italian at the Pennsylvania State University, minoring in Medieval Studies, Residential Construction, and Architectural History. Her interests in the field of architecture are sustainability and historical preservation. As an international student her Mexican-Cuban background serves as a base for questions of equitability, justice, and accessibility for her professional and academic careers.

Shalom Mulinge is an international student from Kenya, studying Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. Her interests are within energy focus on equitable energy supply and sustainability analytics.

Kiarat and Shalom met while conducting research under Project Drawdown. In this episode, they discuss their experiences completing their research project and their hopes for the future.
