Daniel Dickerman is a Program Officer for Institute for Sustainable Communities U.S. Program. In this role, he supports ISC’s work building community resilience at the regional level. Prior to ISC, Dan worked for the Homewood Children’s Village, where he managed programming related to neighborhood sustainability, public health, housing stabilization, early childhood development, and food access.

Sander Schuur is an architect from the Netherlands and founded The Pittsburgh Platform and sthlmnyc, a network organization where architects, urban planners, policy makers and academia from Stockholm, Sweden and New York City, USA discuss the future of urban planning and design.

Dan and Sander met at the very first start of the Pittsburgh Platform and have been involved ever since. In this episode they discuss how the platform came to be and their ambitions for 2022. Enjoy!
